Gorkha Lahari Contributes NPR 6.36 Million to Rasuwa Flood Relief Effort

SIMARA: Hetauda-based Gorkha Lahari Pvt. Ltd. has donated NPR 6,365,000 to support relief, rescue and rehabilitation operations for victims affected by the devastating floods in Rasuwa.
Company representatives officially handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle at the Ministry of Finance on Monday. The funds are designated for deposit into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The contribution was presented jointly by Corporate Manager Nawal Kishor Chaudhary and Administration Department Head Prabhakar Bhandari. Sales and Marketing Manager Anand Kumar Totla and Kathmandu Branch Manager Prakash Tandukar were also present during the handover ceremony.
According to company officials, the financial support was extended under Gorkha Lahari’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to provide immediate assistance to flood-affected communities during this crisis. The company has a history of contributing to similar social and humanitarian causes across Nepal.
