Three arrested with elephant tusks
Amalekhganj: Police have arrested three persons from Amalekhganj along with an elephant tusk. Among the arrested are Surya Tamang of Nijgadh Municipality-11, Dil Bahadur Ghalan and Subash Tamang of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-13.The elephant’s tusk was found while checking a motorcycle coming from Hetauda.
A police team including Sagar Rana, incharge of Amalekhganj Police Post, arrested them after receiving information that Dara was hiding in a bag.According to Bara Police Spokesperson Gautam Mishra, the arrested persons and their motorcycles were handed over to Parsa National Park.
