Nijgadh Municipality Expresses Sorrow Over Flood Devastation and Announces Relief Support

Simara: Nijgadh Municipality has expressed deep sorrow over the destruction caused by the recent devastating floods in Rasuwa and other districts, while showing solidarity for the rescue and relief of the victims.
On Thursday, Nijgadh Municipality Mayor Surath Puri issued a statement expressing profound sadness over the loss of lives and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and other areas. He offered heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives in the floods and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Mayor Puri announced that, as humanitarian aid during this difficult time, the elected representatives and employees of the municipality will contribute financial support to the official relief fund designated by the Government of Nepal.
Noting that the floods have caused massive damage to houses, roads, bridges, agriculture, and livestock, Mayor Puri appealed to the general public and various organizations to provide all possible help from their respective positions for the rescue, relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of the affected citizens.
