Manavsewa Ashram’s Initiative Reunites Woman Missing for a Year with Her Family

Birgunj: A woman who had been missing and out of touch with her family for a year has finally been reunited with them, because of continuous search and coordination efforts of Manavsewa Ashram, Birgunj.

The Indian woman, who belongs to Mohammadpur Sagar village in Rajepur, Motihari district, India, was reunited with her family on Thursday.

On the night of Wednesday, Asoj 7, 2083, the Prasauni Area Police Office in Bara rescued the woman and brought her to Manavsewa Ashram in Birgunj. Devesh Gupta, the founding campaigner of the Ashram, stated that after identifying her family through quick efforts, she was handed over to her brother, Sohan Rai.

According to Gupta, who works to rescue, shelter, treat, and reunite helpless people found on the streets and in public places, bringing the missing woman back to her loved ones is a major success for the Ashram’s mission.

Expressing gratitude to the Prasauni Police, social activist Vinay Kumar, and all supporters, the Ashram described this reunion after a whole year as a significant achievement in human service.
