Saroj Yadav of Bara appointed as the Chief Minister of Madhes Province

Simara: Saroj Yadav elected from Bara region No. 1 (2) has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Madhes Province. State chief Harishankar Mishra appointed Yadav as the chief minister on Wednesday.

According to Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal, Yadav was appointed as the Chief Minister by the State chief Mishra. Yadav presented his claim to the State chief with the signatures of 63 MPs. Yadav is the outgoing speaker of Madhes state. After being elected as a member of the state assembly in the 2074 election, Yadav became the speaker.
