Eye examination camp completed in Simara
Simara: A free eye test camp has been organized on Friday at Narabasti located in Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city 2. The camp was organized by Rupantaran Youth Club and with the technical support of Birgunj Community Eye Hospital.
One hundred and fifty-seven people have had their eyes tested in the camp. According to Ramkumar Aryal, President of Transformation Youth Club, 16 of those tested had cataract problems. Aryal informed that cataract patients will be operated free of charge.
Most of the people who underwent eye examination in the camp were elderly people. Locals felt relieved when the camp was organized at a time when eye problems were on the rise. Aryal said that most of those who were examined in the camp had eye problems and free medicines were distributed to such patients.
Mahesh Singh Dhami (Ophthalmologist of Eye Hospital), Nain Yadav (Ophthalmologist), Prem Ghimire (Manager), Mohan Sharma Lamichhane (President of Jitpursimara city Industry and Commerce Association), Dipesh Barnawal of Abhiyaan Digital World, etc. were present in the camp.
