Dalit social activist Manoj Ram honored
Parsa:- Parsa Milan Center Kathmandu honored Dalit social activist and President of Peace for Dalits Foundation Nepal, Madhesh Pradesh Parsa, Manoj Ram on Saturday. On the occasion of the 23rd Parsa Day, Manoj Ram was honored at a felicitation and honor program organized by the Parsa Milan Center Kathmandu at Jawalakhel in Lalitpur.
In the felicitation and honor program, Dalit social activist Manoj Ram was presented with a certificate by the chief guest of the program, Vice President Ram Sahay Yadav. Manoj is a well-known Dalit social activist from national and international level. For the past 15 years, he has been active in social work at the district and national levels of Madhesh province including Parsa district. Now they are working for education and children targeting 1000 children of Parsa district.
Along with Manoj Ram, people from Parsa who have earned special contribution and fame in the fields of education, health, art, literature, industry, business, sports, social, communication, science and technology in Parsa district, province, country and abroad were felicitated, honored and appreciated.
The program was facilitated by General Secretary of Parsa Milan Center Kathmandu Lalan Prasad Shah and Pratima Chaudhary.
