Sarraf murder case: Protest announced by private school organization
Simara: Two organizations of private and residential schools have announced a protest program on Wednesday expressing dissatisfaction with the police investigation into the murder case of Rupesh Kumar Sarraf, the principal of Bal Ekta Boarding School in Kalaiya, Bara.
The National Private and Residential School Association Nepal (NPABSON) Bara and the Private and Residential School Organization Nepal (PABSON) Bara have jointly announced an eight-day protest program by submitting a memorandum to the Ministry of Home Affairs through the District Administration Office Bara.
Submitting a memorandum to the Chief District Officer of Bara, Nawaraj Sapkota, both the organizations have demanded immediate arrest and action against the murderer involved in the Sarraf murder case.
They have warned that schools across the country will be closed from Mangsir 27, saying that they will protest until the culprits of the murder case are arrested. In the protest program announced by them, there will be a candle procession in Kalaiya on the 21st, a rally and a meeting on the 22nd, a two-hour traffic and market shutdown on the 23rd, a four-hour traffic shutdown on the 24th, an indefinite shutdown of schools across the district from the 25th, and an indefinite shutdown of schools across the state from the 26th.
The two organizations have claimed that the killer involved in Rupesh’s murder has not yet been caught. They have demanded the arrest of the murderer and the release of the innocent.
