Parwanipur Gold Cup: Today Hetauda will face Rautahat
Simara: As part of the 3rd Parwanipur Gold Cup football tournament, a match will be played between Hetauda Football Academy and Chidiya Dah Star Club Rautahat on Sunday. The match between the two teams will start at Parwanipur after 3 pm.
Earlier, Birgunj Youth Academy won the opening match on Saturday. Birgunj defeated the host Shakti Yuwa Club by 4-2 in the tiebreaker. After both teams tied 2-2 at the scheduled time, the match was pushed to a tiebreaker.
The competition was inaugurated by Ramkshatri Prasad Kurmi, Chairman of Parwanipur Rural Municipality. In the competition which will be conducted till 10th of Chaitra, along with the organizers Birgunj United FC, Birgunj Youth Academy, Nawa Jan Jagriti Yuwa Club Simara, Chidiya Dah Star Club Rautahat, Bagmati Football Club Sarlahi, Bharatpur Football Club, Hetauda Football Academy are participating.
The winner of the competition will receive two lakhs and the runner-up will receive one lakh. Media Coordinator Tiwari Yadav has informed that the players who perform best throughout the competition will be awarded according to category.
