Second Convention of Lions Club of International District 325S to be held at Birgunj

Birgunj: The second convention of Lions Club of International District 325 S is going to be held in Birgunj. The club organized a press conference on Wednesday and informed that the second convention will be held at Hotel Clark in Birgunj on 24th Chaitra.

The ceremony will be inaugurated by Saroj Kumar Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhes Province. Club’s National President DN Aggarwal informed that Club’s Past International Director Lion GS Hora will also be a guest at the ceremony. About 400 representatives of Lions Club of International 325S will participate in the convention in Birgunj, the club has informed.

Agarwal said that according to the constitution of Lions Club International, a new leadership will be selected for the district governor, first vice district governor and second vice district governor from the convention and efforts will be made to elect the new leadership unanimously.

According to the club, the delegates participating in the convention have to pay an entry fee of 2000 rupees per person, and the representatives have to make their own transportation and hotel accommodation arrangements.

PMCC Ramesh Kumar Aggarwal, District Secretary Basu Timilsina, Area Chief Umesh Sharma, Treasurer Ram Bihari Pandey and others were present in the press conference held under the chairmanship of Club’s District Chief Journalist Waheti. Lion Bijay Kushwaha facilitated the press conference.
