ANFA will give relief amount to the families of the deceased players
Simara: The All-Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is going to give a relief amount of eight lakh each to the families of six U-13 players who lost their lives in the Sisneri landslide. The emergency meeting of ANFA on Saturday decided to provide the relief money.
ANFA will set up a renewable fund of Rs 2 lakhs each in the name of six deceased players, initiate the Vatsalyadevi Secondary School in Sisneri, which is operated by the academy to build a memorial column for the deceased players, organize a school competition in the memory of the deceased players, request FIFA and AFC for more relief to the families of the deceased players has decided to do.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of ANFA president Pankaj Bikram Nemwang has formed a three-member committee to collect the facts of the incident and submit a report within a month.
Bikal Regmi of Bara, Aditya Balampakhi of Sarlahi, Anupam Ghalan of Makwanpur, Simon Yonjan, Diwas Baniyan and Riyans Acharya of Kathmandu were buried by a landslide in Sisneri of Makwanpur on Asoj 12th along with incessant rain.
