Financial problem in child treatment
Jaitapur: There has been a problem in the treatment of a child from Ward No.17 Jaitapur, Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city, who is suffering from bone marrow problem. Due to financial issue, there was a problem in his treatment.
Piyush, the eight-year-old son of Lal Bahadur Tamang, is currently being treated at Marengo Asia Hospital in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The child studying in class 2 was ill for about four months and was taken to India via Kathmandu for treatment.
After the problem was not detected in Kathmandu, he was taken to India and his family reported that he had a bone marrow problem. More than 50,000 is being spent on his daily treatment.
The family, which has spent more than 18 lakhs on Piyush’s treatment, has stated that there is a financial problem for further treatment. Doctors have said that Piyush needs a bone marrow transplant. Hark, Piyush’s uncle has informed that an additional 80 lakhs will be spent for this.
For the treatment of the child one lakh 52 thousand has been collected. It is difficult for the Tamang family to manage the large amount of money required for the child’s treatment. So, his family is appealing for help.
