Various anti-drug awareness programs in Bara

Simara: Various awareness programs have been organized in Bara on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. A signature collection and awareness rally against drugs has been held in Simara on Sunday morning on the occasion of the day celebrated on June 26.

The program was organized in collaboration with the new Goreto Rehabilitation Center, Simara Rehabilitation Center (Bishwas), Area Police Office Simara and Recovery Nepal, which has been working in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of drug users.

Expressing solidarity with the anti-drug campaign, people’s representatives, representatives of various social organizations, students and others had signed the agreement. An awareness rally was held on the occasion of the day with message banners and pamphlets.

Lighting a Candle at Pathlaiya

On the occasion of the day, evening Candles were lit at Pathalaiya. The candles have been lit in collaboration with Recovering Nepal and the State Traffic Police Office and the new Goreto Rehabilitation Center and Simara Rehabilitation Center.

The program was attended by Nepal Police, Traffic Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal National Secondary School Pathlaiya President Kalyan Ale, Holy Garden English Boarding School Principal Bhuvan Rai, ANNISU Central Secretariat Member Trilok Bikram Shah and other local youths. A candle lighting program was held at the main chowk in Pathlaiya.

Awareness rally in Kalaiya

Awareness rally has been held in Kalaiya, Bara on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The rally was organized by the District Police Office, Bara, Nepal National Secondary School, Kalaiya and Manakamana English Boarding.

The rally was chaired by Bara Chief District Officer Krishna Bahadur Katuwal . The rally was held at Bharatchowk. Addressing a meeting held at Bharatchowk, the speaker expressed his commitment to help in controlling drug use from his constituency.
