Nijgadh Municipal Committee of ANNISU formed near UML
Simara: The first municipal convention of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union Nijgadh Municipal Committee near the CPN-UML concluded on Saturday.
The convention has selected a 39-member city committee under the chairmanship of Vivas Timilsina. Satal Singh Bomjan, Secretary Ishwori Timalsina, Joint Secretary Vishal Kafle, Mina Katuwal, Rima Gautam and Treasurer Kritika Dhital are the vice chairmen of the committee.
The convention was inaugurated by CPN-UML Politburo member and former minister Purushottam Poudel. In the inaugural program of the convention, Nijgadh Municipality Mayor Surath Puri, Deputy Chief Sommaya Thing, UML State Committee Member Ek Bahadur Shrestha, Sudarshan Koirala, ANNISU Standing Committee Member and Madhes State President Anjana Sivakoti, Central Secretariat Member Trilok Vikram Shah, Central Member Manish Pyakurel, District Member Saroj Khanal and others were present.
At the program, UML elected the mayor, deputy mayor and ward chairperson of Nijgadh municipality Was honored.
