Country needs youth leadership: Lamichhane

Kalaiya: The district meeting of the National Independent Party led by Former journalist Ravi Lamichhane has been held at Kalaiya in Bara. Party central president Lamichhane addressed the gathering.

Addressing a gathering held at Bharat Chowk in Kalaiya, President Lamichhane said that he entered politics to do what could not be done when he was in the role of a communicator. He claimed that he believed in work rather than in speeches like the leaders of other political parties.

Lamichhane, who came to Bara for the first time after entering politics, said that the future leadership should be in the hands of the youth to change the country. He has claimed that the party under his leadership will work to end the discrimination against the Madhes.

Madhes Provincial Coordinator of the National Independent Party Mamta Sharma, Central members Sabina Bika, Roshan Kumar Adhikari, Chandan Sarraf and others gave speeches. Lamichhane also visited the world-famous Gadhimai temple.
