Three players from Bara and Parsa in Nepal ‘A’ team to play against Ireland Wolves

Simara: Three players from Bara and Parsa have been included in Nepal’s ‘A’ team announced for T20 and one-day matches against Ireland Wolves. Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the team for the T20 and ODI series starting from the third week of March.

Parsa’s Ranjit Kumar has got an opportunity in the one-day team announced under the captaincy of Binod Bhandari. Left arm spinner Ranjit, who is playing domestic cricket from Madhes province, has been included in the one-day team by CAN.

Similarly, Pawan Sarraf of Bara has been included in the T20 team. Sarraf, who has gained international experience, has been kept by CAN in the T20 team. He played the one-day series against Canada in February.

Another player in the team is Arif Shekh from Parsa. CAN has kept Arif in the squad for both T20 and ODIs. Arif has played 51 one-day internationals and 38 T20.

Bara’s Anil Kumar Sah and Aashif Shekh are currently playing from the senior team against Ireland Wolves. After the senior team’s match, ‘A’ team will play T20 series on 15th, 16th  and 18th Chaitra and one day series on 21st, 23rd and 25th.
