The 15th edition of the Jeetpursimara Gold Cup will begin on Chaitra 22.

Simara: The 15th edition of the Jeetpursimara Gold Cup will begin on Chaitra 22 at the Simara Stadium. The organizer, Nawa Janjagriti Yuwa Club, provided information about the competition during a press conference held on Tuesday.

According to the president of the organizing club, Ramchandra Lama, eight teams will participate in the tournament, which will be held under the floodlights of the Simara Stadium.

The tournament, organized with the main support of the Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, will award the winner with Rs. 10,00,000 and the runner-up with Rs. 5,00,000 along with a trophy.

The best player of the tournament will be awarded an electric scooter. VXL Education, located in Simara, will sponsor the scooter. In terms of categories, the best goalkeeper will receive 25,000 rupees from KTM Consulting, the best coach will be awarded 25,000 rupees from KND Labor Supplier, and the top scorer will receive 25,000 rupees from Grace International, as stated by President Lama.

The emerging player of the tournament will receive 15,000 rupees in cash, while the ‘Man of the Match’ in each game will be rewarded with 10,000 rupees in cash.

The teams participating in the competition include the defending champions Nepal Police Club, Machhindra Football Club, Friends Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Bharatpur Football Club Chitwan, Salhesh Youth Club Siraha, Makwanpur District Football Association Hetauda and the host Nawa Janjangriti Club Simara.

As the ticketing partner for the tournament, Suraksha Mobile will provide a smart watch to one lucky audience who purchases a ticket and attends the match each day.

Additionally, Himalayan Coffee Shop and A.K. Suppliers have announced attractive prizes. The tournament has received support from Hulas Steel, Nepovit Tiles, Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Sagarmatha Insurance, UR Automatic Laundry, LS Neuro Hospital, Star Hospital, Susapt Medical, and others.

The Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneurs Association is preparing to organize a food festival throughout the tournament and cultural programs featuring national artists during the two semifinal matches. The association’s executive president Shambhu Khadgi mentioned that this year, they are combining the food festival with cultural programs to engage the audience.
