Ekata School Organizes Program on Republic Day

Simara: A special program was organized at Ekata School in Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City 1 on the occasion of the 19th Republic Day.

During the program, secondary-level students gave presentations on the history, achievements, and future possibilities of the republic in Nepal.

The students divided into different groups, discussed the 2062/63 People’s Movement, the constitution making process, and the challenges of democratic practice in Nepal. They also shared their views on the republican movement, the contribution of martyrs, and the role of citizens in strengthening democracy.

The students emphasized that the younger generation should be aware and responsible in helping strengthen the republic. They also discussed the Gen Z movement and the formation of the current government. A candle-lighting ceremony was held to pay tribute to the martyrs.

School operator and teacher Diwas Neupane said that the program was organized to inform students about the historical importance of Republic Day, democratic values, and civic responsibility. He expressed confidence that such programs help improve leadership skills, speaking ability, and students’ interest in current affairs.
