Bara Samaj Texas Celebrates Teej Festival special event

America: Bara Samaj Texas recently hosted a special event to celebrate the traditional Teej festival. The gathering brought together Nepali people originally from the Bara district who are now living in Texas.

The main goal of the event was to keep Nepali culture, traditions, and community unity alive while living abroad. Women participants danced to traditional Teej songs and shared joy and happiness with one another.

Amaranath Sah, the President of the Samaj, shared that the event helped strengthen brotherhood, goodwill, and social unity among community members.

The program was chaired by President Sah, hosted by General Secretary Ram Prasad Adhikari, and the welcome speech was delivered by Program Coordinator Bhola Mainali.

Coordinator Mainali noted that Teej is not just a festival, but an important way to meet friends, build close bonds, and stay connected to Nepali cultural identity. He also thanked all the participants and supporters who helped make the event a success.
