Five lakhs from Nijgadh municipality to earthquake victims
Simara: Nijgadh Municipality has announced to provide five lakh assistance for the relief, treatment and rehabilitation of the earthquake victims of Jajarkot and Rukum West. Mayor Surath Puri of the municipality issued a statement on Monday and announced the cooperation.
Mayor Puri said that the amount will be provided from the disaster management fund of the municipality for the treatment and relief of the citizens of the earthquake-affected areas. Puri has demanded the government to provide free management and treatment to the citizens of the earthquake-affected areas.
While issuing a statement of condolence, Mayor Puri has also expressed his condolences to all those who lost their lives in the earthquake, including Deputy Mayor Sarita Singh of Jajarkot-based Nalgad Municipality.
