Pre-cabinet meeting of Lions Club District 325 S completed

Simara: The second pre-cabinet meeting of Lions Club International District 325 S has been completed. District meeting was held at Hotel Clark in Birgunj.

A pre-cabinet meeting was held to prepare and make a strategic plan on the eve of the full cabinet meeting of the district on Saturday. The meeting has decided to take the social purpose of the Lions Club to the general public, increase the number of citizens joining the campaign of Lions and increase the number of clubs.

In the meeting, the area, zone and region chairpersons under the district presented the progress report of the last five months of the Lion year 2023/24. Representatives of Area 1, JP Yadav of Area 2, Umesh Sharma of Area 3, Zone Chairperson Chintanmani Neupane, Bijay Kushwaha, Shweta Chhetri, Sunil Khetan, Ayushi Agrawal, Region Chairperson Chudamani Kharel (Kapil), Kshedup Lama, Pushpa Bhatt, Khadga Bahadur Raut, Sanjay Agrawal and Jaya Rajbhandari presented the progress report.

In the report presented by Area, Zone and Reason, PMCC Ramesh Agarwal, Chief Guest of the meeting, District Governor DN Agarwal, Former Governor Ambar Bahadur Shrestha, RP Khetan, Second District Governor Binay Basnet, Former Secretary Balkumar Pandey and Bishnath Khanal gave suggestions. District Governor Agrawal presided over the program and former Governor Shambhu Nakarmi, Ram Kumar Sindhi, First Vice President Tasi Dolma Tumbahamfe, Treasurer Ram Bihari Pandey and other district members and club presidents were present.

The full meeting of the district will be held at Hotel Clark on Saturday at 10 o’clock. Participants from Hetauda, Kathmandu and other places continue to come to Birgunj to participate in the meeting.

In the event, Governor Agrawal honored the meeting preparation coordinator Bijaya Ojhaiya, the area, zone and region chairpersons who were judged excellent in the report and the Lions workers who helped organize the meeting.

District Secretary Basu Timilsina facilitated the pre-cabinet meeting.
