Tiger Behind Fatal Attacks in Jeetpursimara Captured

Simara: The tiger that had been terrorizing the Adabhar jungle in Parsa National Park was finally brought under control on Friday morning.
A team of experts had been working to capture the tiger after it killed three people over the past three months. They were ultimately able to sedate it using a dart.
The operation was carried out by a joint team from the National Nature Conservation Fund, Chitwan, and the ZSL, who had been attempting to control the tiger after repeated attacks could not be prevented. The team reached the Adabhar jungle located along the Pathlaiya-Amlekhganj road section after the tiger was spotted and successfully sedated it.
The experts, along with representatives and police personnel, entered the jungle on elephants. After tracking the tiger, they sedated it and made it unconscious. The unconscious tiger has now been placed in an enclosure at the park’s office, according to Subas Shrestha, Ward Chairman of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-21.
