Bara champions in the state level selection of football
Simara: Bara has won the title of the Madhes province level selection competition for football to participate in the ninth national sports. In the final match held in Lalbandi, Bara defeated Mahottari and became the state champion.
Bara defeated Mahottari 3-2 while lifting the title of state level selection competition. Udit Narayan Chaudhary, Niraj Thapa Magar and Vivek Chaudhary scored one each in Bara’s victory. Sanjiv Chaudhary and Krishna Rana scored for Mahottari.
Eight districts of the province participated in the selection competition. Bara won 2-1 against Parsa in the first match of the tournament and entered the final after defeating Dhanusha 3-1 in the semi-final.
The winners and runners-up teams were distributed prizes by Lalbandi Municipal Mayor Basudev Adhikari, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Sports and Social Development Mr. Dahal and others.
