Simara: The 24-hour service of Jitpursimara Hospital proposed from the primary health center at Simara has been launched. The service has been launched from Wednesday to provide immediate service from the health center building.
Jitpursimara city chief Rajan Paudel started the service. Mayor Paudel said that the service has been started from the building of the center with the aim of providing maternity and dialysis services immediately. He said that the sub-metropolitan municipality is working to bring health insurance, public health programs and other plans.
The primary health center has been transformed into Jitpursimara Hospital after the city chief started the service. Earlier, the health center was providing primary examination and vaccination services.
Ravi Bhaskar, head of the health division of the sub-metropolitan city, has informed that 24-hour OPD, emergency and maternity services will be provided after being converted into a hospital. He said that you can get OPD for 10 rupees and emergency service for 25 rupees.
CPN-UML leader Manoj Paudel expressed his happiness that the hospital service has been operated and said that there is a need to maintain skilled and expert manpower permanently. Leader Paudel said that the relevant ministry can be requested for manpower.
Chet Kumar Pokharel, chief administrative officer of Jitpursimara sub-metropolitan city, has requested the citizens to get their health checked as soon as the service of the hospital starts. Stating that it will take some time to prepare the necessary infrastructure for the hospital, Pokharel said that the health branch is capable of providing services with the currently available infrastructure and manpower.
With the aim of upgrading the primary health center and operating a 15-bed hospital, the sub-metropolitan city laid the foundation stone for the construction of the hospital on Asoj 10. The foundation stone of the hospital was laid by the then Minister of Health of the Government of Nepal, Bhawani Khapung, is under construction. Bhaskar informed that it will take more time to complete the construction of the hospital and until the construction is completed, services will be provided from the primary health center.
