State level karate competition will be held in Simara
Simara: Madhes state level karate competition is going to be held in Simara of Bara. Nepal Sitorio Karate Dojang organized a press conference on Thursday and informed that the competition will be held on Jestha 19 and 20.
According to the organizers, 160 players from eight districts of the province will participate in the competition. In the two-day competition, eight weight groups for men and 10 weight groups for women will be contested.
Likewise, Dojang chief Sanu Patel informed that male and female athletes will compete in singles. According to Patel, 20 players from each district of Madhes will participate.
Patel has informed that other organizations and local sports fans will help in the competition which is going to be organized with the main support of Jeetpursimara sub-metropolitan city. The organizers estimate that the tournament will cost around eight lakhs.
Karate trainer Himalchandra Adhikari, head of water supply office Suraj Vaidha were present at the press conference held under the chief hospitality of Kasim Hussain, Chairman of Simara Water Supply and Consumer Sanitation Committee. The program was facilitated by Pradip Gautam.
