Teacher Dies After Tipper Hits Motorcycle in Bara

Simara: A teacher died on Saturday afternoon after being hit by a tipper truck along the Dudhaura-Piluwa section of the East-West Highway. The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Devbahadur Chaurel, a resident of Piluwa in Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-16, Bara.
Police stated that Chaurel was riding his motorcycle toward Pathalaiya from Piluwa when the tipper, traveling in the opposite direction toward Nijgadh, struck him at the Baijura Bridge. Following the accident, he was rushed to Bayodha Hospital in Gandak, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Local residents shared that Chaurel taught at the Nepal National Secondary School located in Manharwa, Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-24. Police have taken both the driver and the tipper into custody for investigation.
