Yubaraj-Dipendra Pair Wins Jeetpursimara Badminton Title

Simara: The duo of Yubaraj Raut and Dipendra Manandhar has won the Jeetpursimara Municipal-Level Badminton Tournament. They won the title by defeating the pair of Shivanath Yadav and Dipendra Budhathoki in the final match held on Sunday morning at the covered hall of the Armed Police Force Nepal Technical Training Academy in Pathlaiya.
A total of 24 players participated in the tournament, which started on Saturday. The players were divided into two groups: Group ‘A’ included Damaru Prasad Niraula, Krishna Prasad Chapagai, Yadavraj Acharya, Chitra prasad Acharya, Binod Kharel, Dipendra Budhathoki, Shivanath Yadav, Arjun Thapa, Tara Prasad Bohora, Prem Bahadur Bartaula, Bikram KC, and Ganga Chaudhary.
Group ‘B’ featured Deepak Manandhar, Yubaraj Raut, Manish Dhauju, Bhaviram Rai, Nabaraj Shrestha, Pasang Lama, Devendra Prasad Mainali, Rupesh Neupane, Biraj Thapa, Dinesh Basnet, Salikram Shrestha, and Dut Bahadur Tamang.
During the closing ceremony, Chief Administrative Officer Niraula, Commandant Senior Superintendent of APF Naniram Humagai, and Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa Krishna Prasad Chapagai handed over awards to the winners, runners-up, and top players.
The tournament was inaugurated by Chief Administrative Officer Niraula, while Rajan Paudel, Mayor of Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, attended on the second day to watch the matches.
