Jagdamba Jeetpursimara Gold Cup: NRT has entered the semi-finals
Simara: New Road Team (NRT) has entered the semi-finals of the Jagdamba 13th Simara Gold Cup. NRT entered the last four after defeating Birgunj United Club 1-0 in the match held at Simara Rangasala on Sunday.
Ashok Thapa scored the decisive goal while raising NRT in the title race. In the 29th minute of the game, Ashok scored a header by making use of Gaurav Shrestha’s pass. Ashok took advantage of the thin defense line of Birgunj.
NRT, who maintained their lead in the first half, had to fight hard for the win when they missed some good opportunities against Birgunj. Ashok, who scored the decisive goal in NRT’s victory, was declared the man of the match. He received 10,000 in cash.
As part of the competition, there will be a match between Himalayan Sherpa Club and Satdobato Youth Club of A Division on Monday.
