Madhesh Province Cricket Association has signed contracts with 9 players who are not included in the CAN

Simara: The Madhesh Province Cricket Association has signed contracts with players who are not included in the Cricket Association Nepal’s annual central contract. The association has signed contracts with 9 players, including eight male players and one female player from Madhesh Province.
The association has signed contracts with Pawan Sarraf, Harishankar Sah, Abhishek Tiwari, Rohan Bika, Bishal Patel, Araniko Yadav, Pradeep Paswan, Ranjit Kumar for the men’s category, and Roji Kadari for the women’s category. They are not included in the contract list that CAN (Cricket Association Nepal) is preparing for the upcoming year.
The Madhesh Province Cricket Association will provide a monthly amount of Rs.10,000 to the nine contracted players. This amount will be given to the players every three months, as informed by the association’s treasurer, Subhash Jaiswal.
CAN will categorize 33 male players into five tiers for the central contract for the upcoming year. Under this contract, Captain Rohit Paudel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami, and Asif Sheikh from Birgunj are in Grade ‘A.’
Grade ‘B’ includes five players, including Anil Kumar Sah from Bara, who is also the captain of Madhesh Province and a national team all-rounder. This grade also includes Karan KC, Kushal Bhurtel, Gulshan Jha, and Lalit Rajbanshi.
In Grade ‘C,’ there are players such as Arif Sheikh from Birgunj, Sandeep Jora, Bhim Sarki, and Kushal Malla, while Grade ‘D’ includes players who have performed excellently in the Jay Trophy, such as Sahab Alam, along with Sagar Dhakal, Lokesh Bam, Aakash Chand, Vivek Yadav, Surya Tamang, Rijan Dhakal, Dev Khanal, Bashir Ahmed, Pratish Jisi, Abhinash Bohora, and Mayan Yadav.
Emerging players include Arjun Gharti, Hemant Dhami, Dipesh Kandel, Rupesh Singh, Arjun Kumal, Shubh Kansakar, and Santosh Yadav.
Players in Grade ‘A’ will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 100,000 , players in Grade ‘B’ will receive Rs.70,000, players in Grade ‘C’ will receive Rs. 55,000, players in Grade ‘D’ will receive Rs. 35,000 and emerging players will receive Rs. 25,000 per month.
For the women’s category, CAN is planning to categorize and sign central contracts with 19 players. Under this contract, Captain Indu Verma, Puja Mahato, Rubina Chhetri, and Sita Rana Magar are in Grade ‘A’. In Grade ‘B’ only Kabita Joshi is included, while Grade ‘C’ includes Kabita Kuwar and Samjhana Khadka.
In Grade ‘D’, there are Alisha Yadav from Bara, Sana Pravin from Parsa, along with Bindu Rawal, Riya Sharma, Simana KC, Sabitri Dhami, Roma Thapa, Ishwari Bista, Krishna Gurung, Jotsnika Marasaini, Rachana Chaudhary and Manisha Upadhyay.
In the women’s category, players in Grade ‘A’ will receive Rs. 50,000, players in Grade ‘B’ will receive Rs. 35,000, players in Grade ‘C’ will receive Rs. 25,000 and players in Grade ‘D’ will receive Rs. 20,000 per month.
