Public holiday on Monday
Simara: The government has decided to give public holiday on Monday.
Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, Joint Secretary and Spokesman of the Ministry of Home Affairs, informed through a statement on Friday that the decision to give a public holiday was made as the festival of Bakra Eid (Ul Azha) of the followers of Islam falls on Monday, 3rd Ashadh.
The government had published a decision to grant a public holiday on Bakr Eid in the gazette on 29 Magh 2080.
